Hero skill settings
Hero's are great, but they could use a little help with some customization in how they decide to use skills.
I think it would be nice if we could select an option for each skill that tells our hero when and how to use it.
I'm thinking something like these headings that pop up when you right click on a skill in your hero's skill bar.
1. Spam-use skill whenever it's recharged. For multiple spamming skills on one bar you have your spam order. For example: Set spam 1 for vamp touch and spam 2 for vamp bite as an example. Hero will spam 1 first and follow in order to the next one.
2. Health based: cast when any party member is below certain percent health. You can choose what percent. For example: cast when party member is below 80% health. You can choose from 1% to 99%
3. Energy based: same as above, cast when party member is below certain percentage of energy.
4. Combo: Cast this skill only after this specific skill you designate. Ideal for assasins or spikes.
5. Spread: Cast and maintain on all party members. This would be helpfull for skills like tainted flesh and vigorous spirit. The offensive side of this option could be used for targeting foes and spreading such skills as poison arrow or crippling shot. It would read spread on all foes within your aggro range.
6. Conditional: Only cast this skill if foe is suffering from a condition. In this setting you can set to cast if foe is suffering from any condition, or just 1 specific condition or knockdowned opponent.
7. Hex based: Similar to condition, only cast this skill if foe is suffering from a hex.
That's all I can think of right now. It's not perfect and I'm sure there can be several more usefull headings to add but I think the general idea would give us even greater control over our hero's and their builds.
Would hero's be too strong this way? maybe.. I'm sure some people who gvg wouldn't like it but I have pve in mind mostly.
Feel free to add your own thoughts.

I think the heroes already do that to some extent. Plus you can use the mini-skill bars to assume more control. (This doesn't work well if you're playing a warrior.)
It's just that they have the same problems as the players and henchmen - lack of energy, lack of adrenalin, or recharging times.

This sort of idea was proposed before Nightfall was released, and so we have the ability to disable skills and prioritize them by placing them further left in the skill bar.

I knew that comment was coming lol.. I just want better control, and if I bring warriors endurance on my warrior hero, it would be nice if he actually used it.

Skills put further left does nothing at all for priority. If this idea was already suggested I apologize. Show me the link so I can /sign it.

Actually that's the way heroes work now, the skills to the left are considered higher priority. Try arranging your bar that way to see if it makes a difference.
